Ronnie Fraser Memorial Travel Scholarship - extended deadline

Applications are invited to the Ronnie Fraser Memorial Travel Fund. This Fund, established thanks to a generous bequest to Liberal International British Group from the late Ronnie Fraser, is intended to assist students and young people to undertake international travel.

This may be in pursuit of academic research on matters relating to international relations, international development or cognate disciplines, or to undertake voluntary work overseas.

The successful applicant will be expected to write a short report on their trip and we would encourage them to write articles for LIBG or other outlets. There will be one award of up to £400 in 2012.

Application process: candidates should send a covering letter, outlining their proposed trip, including indicative costs and a statement of how it fits with the ideals of Liberal International, and a CV to the Secretary, at dh@dirkhazell.com by 31 May 2012.

Eligibility: under 26s and students of any age, resident in the UK
